A different story of smallpox than I had read elsewhere, this book focuses on the efforts for widespread vaccination–which were not universally popular, and even got to the point of vaccination by force for some. Not super impressive or eloquent writing, but certainly understandable, clear, and pleasant to read. Seemed to be well researched and factual. … ….
