In addition to cultivating the St. Mary’s College of Maryland Library’s collection of books, films, music, and online resources, the librarians and
staff provide a variety of services for students, faculty and staff. We provide access to materials at all USMAI (University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions) libraries as well as libraries across the country through our Interlibrary Loan service. We maintain a robust information literacy instruction program that begins with the First Year Seminar and continues through coursework in all academic disciplines. We also provide computer, scanner, copier, and printer access to the campus community, alumni, and local patrons.
