For the benefit of all current students, faculty, and staff, the College has institutional subscriptions to the New York Times, Washington Post, Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, and The Economist websites. The five different news sites provide different ways for the SMCM community to access their content. Current staff, faculty, and students can follow these links for instructions to gain free access:

To access the New York Times website, go to the Library FAQ “Does SMCM have an online subscription to the New York Times?” and follow the instructions.

To access the Washington Post website, go to the Library FAQ “Does SMCM have an online subscription to the Washington Post?” and follow the instructions.

To access the Chronicle of Higher Education website, go to the Library FAQ “Does SMCM have an online subscription to The Chronicle of Higher Education?” and follow the instructions.

To access Inside Higher Ed, go to the Library FAQ “Does SMCM have an online subscription to Inside Higher Ed?” and follow the instructions.
