Library Services Temporarily Unavailable – July 6

The following library services will be unavailable on Monday, July 6:

  • Printing
  • Scanning
  • Public computer use
  • Checking items in/out

While services will be temporarily unavailable, the library building will remain open. Regular services are expected to resume by the end of the week. 

Patrons can use the printer in Room 112 of the Library Annex. 

As the library renovation continues, we’ll be posting updates on spaces, availability, and closures as they happen. Follow us on Instagram for real-time updates, check out the Library News Blog, or stay up to date with our Library Renovation Project webpage.

Library Renovation Begins July 6

Starting July 6, 2026, Landers Library & Archives will begin a renovation project that will continue through the fall semester.

What’s changing

  • Study rooms will be unavailable for patron use during construction.
  • All first floor services will move to the second floor for the duration of the project. Signage will be posted throughout the building to help direct you to relocated services.

Finding the circulation desk

The circulation service desk will be located on the second floor, where the periodicals are.

From the stairs: Take the stairs from the first to second floor, go past the windows, then take a left — the desk will be on your right. Signage will be posted to help direct you.

From the elevator: Take the elevator from the first floor to the second floor. When you exit, go straight past the stacks and windows, then take a left — the desk will be on your right.

The elevator will remain in service throughout the summer and the start of the fall semester.

What’s staying the same

Our hours will remain the same throughout the summer, so you can count on us being open and available even as work gets underway.

In observance of Juneteenth, the Hilda C. Landers Library & Archives will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Library Hours – Memorial Day Weekend

The library will be closing at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 22 for a staff picnic and early release. We will remain closed through Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.

Beginning Tuesday, February 24, we will resume our normal operating hours.

Library Hours Update

Due to weather conditions, the Library will be operating on a modified schedule this week.

  • Thursday, January 28 & Friday, January 29: We will be open with limited hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Saturday, January 30 & Sunday, January 31: The Library will be CLOSED.
