Browse almost 2,000 images spanning the history of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, starting with St. Mary’s Female Seminary, continuing through the Junior College era, up until the present.
St. Mary’s County Photograph Collection

Explore hundreds of photographs documenting the history of St. Mary’s County from. Many of these photos were taken from MSS 015 Regina Hammett papers, and include images of the County’s one-room schoolhouses.
SlackWater Oral History Transcripts

Search almost 500 oral history interviews relating to the history, culture and folklore of Southern Maryland, primarily St. Mary’s County in the 20th century. The online collection contains full-text transcripts or recording logs only. Please contact the College Archives for full access to audio recordings and transcripts.
St. Mary’s Projects (on-campus only)

Search the abstracts of St. Mary’s Projects, the capstone of study at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. After official submission to the Registrar, St. Mary’s Projects are housed at the College Archives. Full access to actual SMPs is available at the Archives in Calvert Hall; some restrictions may apply.
St. Mary’s Student Newspapers

The student newspapers in this online collection date from 1952 through spring 2002. The College Archives holds physical copies of these newspapers as well as those from 1940–1949 and fall 2002 to the present day.
St. Mary’s Yearbooks

The St. Mary’s Archives has digitized the 1925 Pepper Pot and school yearbooks from 1948 through 1999, with the assistance of the Internet Archive. Each yearbook may be downloaded and is searchable.
The Mulberry Tree Papers

The Mulberry Tree Papers, published by St. Mary’s College of Maryland since 1972, is a general-interest magazine intended for the entire St. Mary’s community: alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, friends, and others. The full catalog is available digitally through the College Archives.
