We suggest exploring our finding aids and digital collections. This will help you find the records in our collections that are of interest to you. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can meet with our College Archivist. They will help you find the records you’re looking for, if we have them in our collections.

Scheduling an Appointment

The St. Mary’s College of Maryland Archive is currently open by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please email the Archives (archives@smcm.edu).

Location

The College Archives is located in Calvert Hall, Room B02. Calvert Hall is located at 47454 Trinity Church Road, St. Mary’s City, MD 20686. The interactive map below shows the location of Calvert Hall on campus.

If you are a visitor, please apply for a visitor’s parking permit through the SMCM Office of Public Safety’s parking portal. We suggest parking in lot D, E, F, or K to conveniently access Calvert Hall. More information on parking at SMCM can be found on our Office of Public Safety’s website.
