The college’s official history, Monument school of the people: a sesquicentennial history of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, 1840–1990, was written by J. Frederick Fausz and published in 1990.
The Golden Run: The Story of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, 1968 – 1982

A memoir written by President Renwick Jackson, presenting his perspective on the history of St. Mary’s College of Maryland during his presidency. This period, lasting from 1968 to 1982, was a transformative moment in the history of the College. Copies of The Golden Run can be found in the College Archives.
