Please welcome Shane Moran, our new College Archivist!
Shane will be working to preserve and document St. Mary’s history, making our Archives accessible to the campus community and beyond, and providing primary source and information literacy instruction. They will also serve as the library liaison for the History and Museum Studies programs.
Shane grew up right outside of Philadelphia. He received his Master of Arts in History from Millersville University, and his Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Drexel University. In their free time, Shane enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing video games, and bookbinding.
Shane joined the Library & Archives in July 2025.
Please welcome our new Interlibrary Loan & Acquisition Technician, Elisia Lewis!
Elisia is a recent graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland where she earned her Bachelor’s in History. While at SMCM, she worked as a Library Student Circulation Assistant, Career Mentor, and Program Student Ambassador for AADS. In her spare time, she enjoys reading cozy mysteries, bookbinding, and connecting with the local community at fun events!
