Renovation Frequently Asked Questions

Will the library be closed at any point during the renovation?

No closures are planned. Our hours will remain the same throughout the summer.

Where do I return or check out books during construction?

The circulation desk has moved to the second floor, near the periodicals. See Visiting the Library During Renovation for directions from the stairs or elevator.

Are study rooms available during the renovation?

Study rooms will be unavailable for patron use for the duration of the project.

Is the elevator still in service?

Yes, the elevator will remain in service throughout the summer and the start of the fall semester.

How will I know where a specific service has moved to?

Signage will be posted throughout the building to direct you to relocated services. If you can’t find something, ask any staff member for help.
